Why Do I Recommend MyBodylastics?
It’s a piece of equipment that serves a multitude of purposes. Here are just 5 off the top of my head.
Pulling Movements – This is by far the hardest form of exercise to program without additional equipment. For example, not everyone has the ability to hang a pullup bar where with a Bodylastics system, you can just use the door attachment and be able to get the vertical pull resistance needed.
Scaling Exercises & Workouts – Resistance bands like these are a great way to either scale up or down any exercise or workout. For example, they can add resistance to a pushup as well as if you cannot perform a pushup normally, can act as a scale down by performing a light band chest press.
Small & Compact System – Not everyone has extra space in their house a full home gym. The performance of these bands can rival such big names as Bowflex at a 10th of the cost. It’s also so compact, you can even travel with it!
A Different Resistance – I love having various forms of resistance at different points of any movement as they all have a place in fitness. For example dumbbells. Using dumbbells during a bicep curl tends to have the most resistance towards the bottom of the pull. Using resistance bands, the resistance is towards the top lockout.
Various Levels Of Tension – With the combination of bands you get, you can generate anywhere from 15-100 levels of tension to precisely increment difficulty levels while you progress with your fitness abilities. This is much harder to achieve with dumbbells.
